Ingredients (12 servings)
-
350 mlAdamus Organic Dry Gin
-
6 medium eggs
-
150 sugar
-
500ml whole milk
-
400ml cream
-
nutmeg to taste
Preparation
Beat the yolks in a bowl with 100g of sugar until you get a light yellow mixture and thick (we suggest using an electric hand mixer for best results).
Add the milk, cream and Adamus Dry Gin. You can also add some nutmeg if you like.
Pour the mixture into two 750ml bottles with stoppers and store in the refrigerator.
Place the egg whites in a box and freeze until ready to serve the eggnog.
When ready to serve, thaw the egg whites in a clean metal or glass bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until frothy and opaque. Add the remaining 50g of sugar and beat the egg whites until soft peaks form when removing the whisk.
Pour the eggnog from the bottles into a large bowl and fold in the egg whites until well combined. Pour eggnog into glass cups and serve with some nutmeg on top of each cup.
